Your nightlight issues solved.
This funny but quite useful footwear can be your light in the darkness.
BrightFeet Slippers are basically nightlights for your feet. Wherever you go, the lights go with you. Checking on kids, midnight snacks, trips to the bathroom, whatever the task, these slippers will literally light up your way. No need to wake others by turning on lights in a dark room.
The light sensor alerts LED to come on only in darkened conditions. This helps prevent the LED from activating in lighted conditions when you don’t need it. The slippers are powered by two replaceable lithium batteries that are included in each slipper. The weight sensors alert the LED in each slipper to activate. Each LED is angled upward for projection of light, which will illuminate an area 20 to 25 feet in front of you. After removing the slipper, a built-in timer delays LED shut-off to allow time to see your way safely back to bed.

The Gyro Car is suitable for kids over 36 months and can take up to 120kg (or 240lbs). It is very easy to assemble and comes in six different colours. The Gyro Car works best when used on smooth flat surfaces such as tiled, laminate or linoleum covered floors or outside on concrete, tarmac or paved paths and other open areas.
Sitting on the Gyro Car, all that is required to get moving is to move the steering wheel from left to right and she moves forward. Flip the wheel 180° and the Gyro Car goes backwards. The two driving wheels are forced forward by the axle at the bottom of the steering column, thus propelling the car forward with each turn of the wheel. It requires no batteries, there are no pedals, motors or other fuels and no greasy chains or complicated gears.

What is an exersaucer? It is a play centre that allows your kid to safely play on her own without the risk of going anywhere. There are a variety of exersaucers out there in a range of prices and toys so pick well. What makes this better than a floor gym or a walker is its safety. With floor gyms, there is always the danger of the baby rolling or crawling away. Walkers also need extensive attention given the high number of accidents it has caused.
However, with the exersaucer, mums don’t have to wait for the baby to go to sleep so they can shower, do the dishes or other things. Simply flop the baby in the activity centre, you can take them with you in the bathroom, kitchen, outdoors etc while you shower, cook, do the laundry and more. This is ideal for the momentary need to do stuff around the house.
In choosing an exersaucer, make sure there are no bits that can taken off and swallowed. Clean it before use and make sure the seat is washable – in case of accidents.

You might argue that this is not a kid’s gadget, but if you think about it, why would any parent buy this sexy new Dyson fan? To avoid those finger injuries caused by curious little hands trying to grab the electric fan’s propeller, of course!
The Dyson AM01 Air Multiplier fan is a bladeless fan that uses Air Multiplier technology to generate smooth, uninterrupted airflow with no unpleasant buffeting.
This is the world’s first bladeless fan — it has no blades which means no need for a grille and it’s safe and simple to use and clean. Air is drawn into the base of the machine, then forced up into the loop amplifier and accelerated through the 1.3mm annular aperture, creating a jet of air that hugs the airfoil- shaped ramp.
Safe for kids, easy to clean and a sexy addition to the home.

The holidays are over and the house is stuffed with presents from everyone. Just for extra safety measure, it might be worth checking whether these presents are on the list of products being recalled.
Babycenter’s product recall finder is a handy site to find an updated list of products (toys, prams and everything else) not fit for kids. Make a habit of going to the site just to be on the safe side. Gadgets and toys are fun and all but safety first is still the best policy.

All parents want to have some sort of souvenir or imprint of their bub’s little hands and feet. To avoid the mess of it all, try imprinting them the inkless way.
The Bellyart package comes with an inkless tissue you use to wipe your baby’s foot, before pressing it onto the special paper provided (the package comes with four papers). If you decide to imprint the foot, it would be better to just make them stand on it rather than struggle with pushing it onto the foot (avoid all the wriggling!).
You can frame the finished product afterwards and send extra copies to the grandparents. Just wash the residue off and you’re done – no fuss no mess.
